The two-time champion of SEHA – Gazprom League, managed to beat one of the best German and European teams, THW Kiel. After Veszprem left for a break with a 3-goal advantage, the Germans threatened to turn over the result in the 2nd half, but the Hungarian side kept fighting until the very last minute and the result remained in their favor (21:19).
Celje Pivovarna Lasko could not keep up with the actual Champion League’s title holders losing 31:23. The 8-goal advantage by Vive Tauron Kielce placed them at the first place of the table, having 100% performance collecting 8 points so far.

The second SEHA representative of the group C – Metalurg – celebrated against Naturhouse La Rioja on Saturday. The home court was obviously a tailwind for Metalurg who left the spectators overwhelmed when the last whistle was blown and brought them the 2 new points with a narrow win of 24:23.
