Who will be the winner of the season 2015/16?
April 3, 2016

Now that the regular part of the league is behind us, the 4 teams that qualified for the SEHA Gazprom League’s semi-finals can finally focus on preparing for the final phase of the season.

The confirmation of SEHA Gazprom League’s true quality comes from the EHF’s Champions League since all of the four SEHA semi-finalists managed to pass through the group phase of the strongest European handball league.

In SEHA Gazprom League’s fifth season semis F4 hosts, HC PPD Zagreb, will meet HC Meshkov Brest for the first semi-final match in Varaždin, where the team of Meshkov will have the opportunity to overpower Vujović’s Zagreb after the appointment of their new coach Sergei Bebeshko.

In the second semi-final match, the current champions MKB Veszprem will meet HC Vardar in a bid to book their ticket to the finals. Even though Veszprem are the clear favorites, they’ll have to fight against a team led by names such as Alex Dujshebaev, Jorge Maqueda, Filip Lazarov, Arpad Šterbik and their coach Raul Gonzalez.

With that said, we sure won’t be missing any action in the sports hall Arena Varaždin from the 1st to 3rd of  April. On Friday, 1st of April, the semi-final matches will be played and the final, as well as the 3rd place match, will take place on Sunday, 3rd of April. Make sure you don’t miss the biggest derbies of south-eastern handball – support your team by getting the tickets and coming to Varaždin in April!
