After almost five months break, it’s time for the new, sixth season of the best handball in the region with even four new teams. Celje Pivovarna Lasko and Gorenje Velenje, two Slovenian aces replaced teams from Serbia, while Izvidjac Central Osiguranje topped the podium in BiH and earned the ticket for SEHA season. Metalurg is also back after one season break, finishing as the second in the Macedonian league.
First one to try out the court are Vardar and Meshkov Brest on Tuesday, 30th of August. Jane Sandanski in Skopje will host the first match, derby in the regional league and there’s no doubt that the Macedonian fans will heat the atmosphere.
After Vardar vs. Meshkov, Celje will debute in their first SEHA match having a tough opponent on the other side. Telekom Veszprem will arrive to Zlatorog arena, giving the Slovenian fans a chance to see brothers Marguc playing against each other.
