[EHFCL] Round 3
October 9, 2016
Week 7 recap
October 12, 2016

It’s not easy keeping the tempo high now that the season heated up, which means that from now on everything is possible… Potential surprises may not be as surprising anymore!

After their third EHF Champions League loss of the season, the Lions of Zagreb are now pressured to bring new, positive energy to the team. Hosting Metalurg from Skopje will be the first opportunity for the team to get back to winning track, yet still, it remains to be seen if Macedonians have an ace up in their sleeve ahead of the clash in Zagreb which will happen on Tuesday, 11/10 at 18h CET.

Meshkov Brest fans are, after their team’s sensational win over Rhein Neckar Loewen in Champions League, for sure more than ready to see another handball spectacle in their town. Meshkov Brest will for the 6th round of SEHA League host Celje Pivovarna Lasko and are assured to have the tailwind of their fans on Wednesday as they play another match on the home court. The match is scheduled for  12/10 at 18h CET (19h local time).

Full 6 weeks of SEHA – Gazprom League and 3 weeks of EHF Champions League – this is how long Vardar’s winning strike has been lasting, and it still looks like they are not stepping off the winning track. This season seems very promising for the Macedonian champions so far, but they have to remain calm as the new obstacle from Ljubuski is coming their way. See how it goes between Vardar and Izvidjac CO on Wednesday, 12/10 at 20:30h CET.
