Handball Helps Kids – Veszprem’s new project

The project that includes promoting handball and helping children in need is always something we can proudly announce and share. Telekom Veszprem have already started their new campaign and its goal is to donate money to children foundations and encourage them to take up handball. The idea is to share childhood photos of their players and coaches. For every photo posted on Facebook, Instragram and Twitter, the club will nominate 5 other users to do the same, and nominate other people to join the cause.

However, it is not only about motivating children to take up handball as a sport. A sum of 10 Euros (or 3.000 Forints) will be donated for every photo shared across social media channels. Fans will also have a chance to engage in a small contest, as they will have a chance to guess who is the person on every historic photo. A winner will be awarded a prize from the club.

Telekom Veszprem have already nominated five other clubs: Balatonfüredi KSE, HC Vardar, Orlen Wisla Plock, PSG Handball and SG Flensburg-Handewitt to join the cause. Of course, SEHA- Gazprom League and Be8player will also support the campaign!

It is important to teach children good values from the start. Handball is more than just a sport, it is a way of learning how to socialise, lead a healthy lifestyle and develop yourself. Therefore, it is important to help children find the right motivation and ensure sport becomes a part of their every day life for a very long time.
